Fontmas Day 7: Gotta Lotta Posadas

Today, I sing for you La Virgen Sueña Caminos by Carmelo Erdozain from OCP. This song is in Las Posadas: Peregrinación Hasta Navidad.  This is one of my favorite Advent songs, although I like it a bit better when it was in the first  Flor y Canto and they used el voseo.

FontMas Day 6

My esteemed colleague and expert organist Michael Xavier Lundy and I talk about Oxford's 100 Carols for Choirs which you can buy right here through Amazon...https://amzn.to/2PSxaAX

FontMas Day 5

Here's a quick vid which shows how I use the internet to find free Christmas music. My favorite site for hymnody is hymnary.org. The other sites I like include cpdl.org for choral music and imslp.org for organ literature.

FontMas Day 4

Tony and Elena Sing Alegría, a carol from Latin America. Although publishers site that this is native to Puerto Rico, it is fairly popular throughout the Spanish speaking world. Titles: Alegría/OCP & Various/GIA Publications in Oramos Cantando

You can find Night of Silence through GIA as an octavo, as well as World Library Publications and Oregon Catholic Press. There is a bilingual edition in  Oramos Cantando We found Talang Patnubay by doing a simple Google search.
